Other ways to help us

The Women In Need Center is always in need of help from volunteers from all aspects including professional knowledge in law and counseling, general help by supporting the case, providing transportation, maintaining facilities of the center, or planning and organizing campaigns and events. We also have subdivided groups of adolescent and adult volunteers who are willing to introduce Korean culture to our community and to take an initial step toward fixing social taboos in regard to women, intermarriage, and other social issues. Your small help and ability can bring a real difference to our organization. Please do not presume that volunteering is a difficult obligation. The Women In Need Center is always open to happy volunteers who love to share with others.

Sharing your generosity little by little

Method 1. Piggy bank donations

When useless pennies are accumulated, they can be used to build a strong foundation for our sisters in the shelter to stand on their own feet. Please suggest this campaign to churches, schools, corporations, and families. You can learn the culture of sharing by accumulating unused coins. You can take piggy banks from the center and recollect them whenever you want.

Method 2. Sharing daily necessities

The Women In Need Center is in need of various daily necessities including furniture, clothes, hygiene products and etc. Your generously donated items are going to be fixed and reused economically. First, tell us what you are willing to donate via phone. Then we will contact you shortly after determining whether we need the item and space in the shelter.
